March Favourites

March brought a natural creative shift with lighter references and softer palettes. Here's what we kept coming back to throughout the month.

Favourite Brand

Henne was the brand we kept returning to this March. The Australian label does restraint exceptionally well - a minimal identity built on muted earthen tones, generous whitespace, and a typographic voice that never overstates itself. As the season shifted and we found ourselves naturally gravitating toward lighter, fresher creative references, Henne felt like the right fit. Their visual consistency across every touchpoint is the kind of thing that looks effortless but is clearly the result of very deliberate creative decisions.

Favourite Colour

Pelican was the colour we found ourselves reaching for throughout March. It sits in that useful middle ground between a true white and a soft neutral, making it incredibly versatile for branding work: backgrounds, packaging, editorial layouts. It carries the feeling of the season well too, with that early spring quality of light that's bright but not harsh. We used it as a base tone across several projects this month and it held up consistently across both print and digital applications.

Favourite Font

Bellefair was our typeface of the month. It sits in an interesting space - serif with real elegance, but with enough lightness to avoid feeling heavy or traditional. Used in uppercase, it carries a refined confidence that worked particularly well for brand and editorial applications this month, where we needed something that could hold space without dominating a layout. As spring palettes started leaning warmer and softer, Bellefair complemented that direction naturally.

Favourite Mockup

March also marked the launch of Le Pétale, our newest mockup collection, and the dropper bottle was the piece we were most excited to share. Styled with white alstroemeria against a warm cream background, it was designed specifically with spring beauty and skincare branding in mind. The amber glass reads beautifully against soft florals, and the overall palette sits in that sweet spot between organic and elevated.

Favourite Tool

MaxiBestOf earned a permanent tab this month. It's a daily-updated gallery of the best websites and typefaces on the web - hand-curated, no clutter, genuinely useful. For designers, the start of spring tends to bring a natural shift in creative direction, and having a reliable reference point to benchmark against makes that process sharper. Rather than falling into the same saved folders or scrolling the usual feeds, MaxiBestOf consistently surfaced work we hadn't seen before.
