Digital Products Covered by This Policy

This policy applies to all digital products sold on our Website, including: Stock photography and images, Design mockups, Presentation templates, Semi-custom brand kits. Note: Custom design services are governed by separate service agreements and are not covered by this refund policy.

 

No Refunds for Downloaded Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final once you have downloaded or accessed the product.

Why No Refunds?

Digital products cannot be “returned” in the same way physical goods can. Once downloaded, the product has been delivered and you have permanent access to the files. For this reason:

• No refunds will be issued after you have downloaded the product

• No exchanges are available for digital products

• No cancellations are possible once download access has been provided

 

Your Right to Cancel Under UK Law

14-Day Cancellation Period (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you ordinarily have the right to cancel purchases within 14 days without giving a reason. However, there is an important exception for digital content.

 

Waiver of Cancellation Rights for Digital Products

By completing your purchase and accessing/downloading digital content, you expressly acknowledge and agree to waive your 14-day cancellation right. This waiver is legally permitted under the Consumer Contracts Regulations when:

1. You are provided clear information about waiving your cancellation right

2. You expressly consent to immediate access

3. You acknowledge that you will lose your cancellation right once content is accessed

You provide this acknowledgment and consent during checkout.

Exception: Non-Downloaded Products

If you have NOT downloaded or accessed the digital product within the 14-day cancellation period, you retain your right to cancel and may request a full refund.

To cancel before download: Email contact@blanchestudio.co.uk within 14 days of purchase, Include your order number and email address, Confirm you have not downloaded or accessed the product, We will process your refund within 14 days.

 

Defective or Incorrect Products

While we cannot offer refunds for personal preference or change of mind, we will address genuine product defects.

When We May Offer a Remedy

If the digital product you purchased is:

- Corrupted or damaged: Files won’t open or are unusable

- Missing files: Incomplete download or missing components listed in product description

- Materially different: Product is substantially different from its description

- Technical defect: Product has significant technical issues preventing intended use

How to Report a Defect

Our Response to Defects

Upon verification, we will:

1. Repair: Provide a corrected or replacement file

2. Replace: Offer an alternative product of equal or greater value

3. Refund: Issue a full refund (at our discretion)

We aim to resolve defect reports within 5-7 business days.

What Is NOT Covered

We cannot provide refunds, replacements, or remedies for:

Technical Issues on Your End

• Your internet connection problems preventing download

• Your device or software compatibility issues

• Your lack of required software to use the product (e.g., needing Adobe InDesign for presentation templates)

• Your inability to access downloads due to lost/deleted emails

• File corruption occurring on your device after successful download

User Preferences or Expectations

• You changed your mind about the purchase

• You don’t like the style, colours, or design

• The product doesn’t fit your specific project needs

• You found a similar product elsewhere at a lower price

• You purchased the wrong product by mistake

Misunderstanding Product Specifications

• You didn’t read the product description fully

• You assumed features not listed in the description

• You expected placeholder images or fonts to be included when they’re explicitly excluded

 

Licence Violations

• You cannot use the product the way you intended due to licence restrictions (if licence terms were clearly stated)

• Your client needs a licence and you thought yours was transferable Important: Please read product descriptions, licence terms, and requirements carefully before purchase. Contact us with questions BEFORE purchasing if you’re unsure.

 

Lost Download Links

If you’ve lost your download link or need to re-download:

Within 30 days of purchase:

Contact us at contact@blanchestudio.co.uk with your order number, and we’ll resend your download link free of charge.

After 30 days:

We may be able to provide re-download access, but this is at our discretion and may not always be possible. We are not obligated to maintain download links indefinitely.

Recommendation: Always save your purchased files to secure backup storage immediately after downloading.

 

Semi-Custom Brand Kits

Before Customisation Begins: Semi-custom brand kits involve customisation work. If you wish to cancel: Before submitting your questionnaire/specifications: Contact us to cancel and receive a full refund, After submitting specifications but before we begin work: Refund minus a £50 administration fee.

After customisation work has begun: No refunds (work is already in progress)

After Delivery: Once your customised brand kit is delivered, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued for: Change of mind, Design preferences (you didn’t like the colours, fonts, style).

Revisions: If included in your package, you may request revisions according to your service agreement. Revisions do not extend refund rights.

 

Processing Refunds (When Applicable)

When a refund is approved:

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Processing Time:

- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days of approval

- It may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider

Refund Amount:

- Full purchase price (if cancellation is within 14 days and product not downloaded)

- Full purchase price (if defect is verified and refund is chosen)

- Minus administration fee (for semi-custom brand kit cancellations at certain stages)

We do not refund payment processing fees charged by third-party payment providers (e.g., Klarna fees).

 

Disputes and Chargebacks

Contact Us First If you have an issue with your purchase, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider. We’re committed to resolving

issues fairly and quickly. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication.

Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback for a valid purchase that was properly delivered may result in: Termination of your account, Revocation of all product licences, Legal action to recover costs, Being barred from future purchases. Fraudulent chargebacks are taken seriously and may be reported to relevant authorities.

Dispute Resolution

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally: Disputes are governed by the laws of England and Wales, You may have the right to use alternative dispute resolution services, You can contact Citizens Advice or the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (if applicable).

 

Fraudulent or Suspicious Orders

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect: - Fraudulent payment information, Unauthorised use of payment methods, Violation of our Terms and Conditions, Reselling or abuse of products. In such cases, we will issue a full refund (if payment was processed) and may report the incident to relevant authorities.
