EYRA

We had the joy of working with EYRA, a haircare brand founded on honest, natural ingredients and the quiet discipline of stripping away the unnecessary. Our task was to develop a brand identity, and a website to carry it, that felt rooted in heritage yet refined for international luxury markets. EYRA was never meant to be the optimistic spa green of accessible wellness. It needed the composure of a brand that whispers exclusivity rather than announcing it, inviting customers to lean in rather than shouting for attention.

They envisioned an identity that spoke to a discerning, design-aware customer, someone drawn to timeless quality and intentional detail, who reads care in the visual identity as a promise about the product inside. Early in our design journey, we understood that capturing EYRA's essence meant making transparency visible in every choice. The wordmark was set in a refined serif with generous, open spacing and unconnected letterforms, each element honest and on show, just as there are no hidden ingredients in EYRA's products. Into the upper stroke of the 'R' we carved a deliberate gap, a small interruption symbolising the removal of the harmful and the excess. Alongside it, a submark built from a stylised 'E' repeated four times in radial arrangement holds the brand's philosophy of balance, the four seasons and directions anchoring the space at the centre where ritual and transformation live.

The palette and type system carried that positioning through every application, on screen and in hand. We anchored the brand in a signature deep emerald, moody and almost black-green, closer to luxury fashion packaging than beauty, supported by warm stone, taupe and earthy neutrals that give it breathing room without sterility. The result feels calm yet powerful, natural yet exclusive, rooted in Irish landscape but refined through Italian craft. A graceful high-contrast serif leads product names and hero messaging, an italic accent introduces editorial, poetic movement, and clean supporting sans-serifs ground the system with modern clarity. Translated into the website, this layered editorial aesthetic became a considered, easy-to-navigate experience that lets the brand breathe and gives every customer room to discover the intention behind it.

Our experience with EYRA was an enriching journey, transforming a vision into a visual reality, creating a brand identity and website that didn't just look refined but resonated deeply with the customers it was made for. Ultimately, EYRA wasn't just a brand; it was a story of nature, heritage, and ritual told through thoughtful and purposeful design.
