Droplit Lab

We had the joy of working with Droplit Lab, a skincare brand on a mission to make self-care an essential, joyful part of everyday life. Our task was to develop a brand identity, and the packaging to carry it, that felt fresh, approachable and modern without ever losing its sense of quality. Droplit Lab was never meant to read as clinical skincare. It needed to feel like a brand that takes its products seriously and still knows how to press pause and enjoy the ritual.

They envisioned an identity that spoke to a sophisticated yet contemporary audience, women who value both aesthetics and function and who see self-care as a necessity rather than an indulgence. Early in our design journey, we understood that capturing Droplit Lab's essence meant balancing sophistication with warmth. The wordmark was set in friendly lowercase letterforms, with a single slanted 'd' carrying a quiet sense of play and personality, while a spaced-out sans-serif tagline lent it calm and confidence. We grounded the palette in soft, muted greens and neutrals that evoke balance and nature, then warmed it with mocha and chocolate browns for a sense of groundedness and understated luxury, deliberately stepping away from the clinical whites and bright tones that crowd the skincare market.

That identity came to life most vividly across the packaging. For the bio-cellulose sheet mask range, we built a visual-first system led by signature colour and generous negative space, with minimal typography so the brand and the product could take centre stage. The face mask packaging paired crisp white text against a deep burgundy ground, a striking, modern contrast that signals luxury while keeping the front clean and the essential detail considered and easy to read. From the logo through to the finished mask packaging, every element was chosen to feel both timeless and inviting.

Our experience with Droplit Lab was an enriching journey, transforming a vision into a visual reality, creating a brand identity and packaging that didn't just look refined but resonated deeply with the women it was made for. Ultimately, Droplit Lab wasn't just a brand; it was a story of balance, simplicity, and joyful self-care told through thoughtful and purposeful design.
